Photography Resolutions for the New Year A. The website talks about goals and things you can do to become a better photographer, and feel more confident. These are goals that could inspire you to think outside pf the box and take photos you used to not be confident enough to.  B. I learned that many people think Photoshop is a bad thing and should not be used. I do not think that and neither does the author of the website. They say it is just a way to make your pictures look the way you imagined.  C. This relates to photography because many people wouldn't take pictures they feel people would judge. This website can inspire people and make them not care what others think.  Approaching the Problem of Style A. I feel like this is a photo not many people would think to take and then post it. Most photos of people are close up and them looking at the camera, but this is different.  B. I see lines that bring the attention to the subject right away. Simplicity is als

https://petapixel.com/2014/12/19/disorienting-beauty-spiral-staircases-old-abandoned-buildings/ i learned that the tilt-shift lens is expensive but its really good, it allows photographers to extend their depth of an object. 1) i chose this image because i really liked how it looks and how its focused on only some of the buildings. 2) i think i see leading lines because if you look at the tress they kinda lead up to like the focused part of the photo.  3) i could not ind the person who took this image 1) i chose this image because i thought it looked cool how like the stair case went down in like a spiral. 2) i'm not sure what rules i see in this image 3)  Christian Richter 1) I see a lot of spiral staircases on the website. There were a lot of different staircases like old ones or in old houses or in old buildings/factories. 2) I learned it is best to hold on the camera near the railing to make it look more of a spiral. 3) The site related to photography because of the angle

http://www.rachelsussman.com/oltw/ I saw very old things on tis website and nature is truly really beautiful. I don't think these really are the oldest living things in the world but the photos are of very large intact nature things. I learned how to really expose how certain items could be shot to make the damage of things look more intense. a. I picked this photo because that is indeed a very large tree. b. The rules of photography used in this photo is scale. c. Rachel Sussman a. I saw a lot of historical items on this website. I also saw a lot of these locations appear to be completely untouched. b. I learned how the perspective of locations really can change how you look on the photo. c. This related to photography because is showed how Rachel really showed the correct perspectives.

https://petapixel.com/2014/12/01/6-types-photos-know-make/ I looked at photos that everyone knows how to do and I thought that was interesting that everyone actually does  do a lot of these photos for taking pictures. I noticed how they brought objects closer to the camera and act if this tiny object was larger than the subject in the back. I have learned that you can take photos of reflections in the water. a. I picked this photo because I thought it looked unique how the trees were shaded onto her.   b. I see composition in this photo c. Another photographer off to the side of her. a. I see a lot of photo shop used on these websites b. I learned how to make a digital infrared photo. I also learned how to make a 360 degree panorama c. It did not relate to photography that much I just liked how the photos looked.

Magazines part II

Image-based usually has one or more people looking at the camera. The photo has to correspond with the colors and style of the publication. Second, Illustration-based is more of illustrations and was mainly used back in the 20s-30s but are not used as much now. Third, typed-based is where the text of the magazine is more of the subject than the photo because it is trying to show powerful messages.  Last,  Concept-based is a mix of all the of the other types. The relationship between words and photos on magazine covers is that words and the photo can convey powerful messages and it is important because if each helps convey each other.

What I liked about this portrait was the girl easily pops out in the photo because the background of this photo is a more darker color. I also really like how the red is placed to go along with the lines on her face because it is two different objects with the same color trying to match a piece together.

2 tips for these photos are that they should at least allow the colors to match how it looks more like in real life instead of making it look dark and gloomy they should have some more focus on the objects closer to them than the whats in the back of the photo and not have one whole blurry picture. I liked this photo because the age of this man others would be in retirement but he is still working to get that and to most likely feed a family. I liked this photo because you could tell that he was taking his own picture in a reflection.  I liked this photo because it's a nice plain picture that you could see in a school yearbook or some sort.  I like this photo because of the blurry background it has while still focused on the main subject of the photo. I like this photo because it's a casual photo that you could also tell that she took this photo herself at an everyday location(in the car). I liked this photo because from the
